Biography
AJ Durand creates engaging, high-quality course content for technology-rich teaching and learning environments and has organized a robust Faculty Development initiative in his work for the Learning Design & Development Team at SoPA. He also teaches User Experience Research & Strategy in the Digital Design program and serves as a Faculty Advisor for the TU AIGA Student Group.
Outside of the office, he’s an award-winning nightlife entertainer, trapeze enthusiast, budding photographer, and host of a digital network where he leads workshops in productivity, self-success, and spiritual creativity for the LGBTQIA+ Community. AJ is currently an Interdisciplinary Design & Media MFA candidate at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan where he lives with his partner and 3 cats.
