Crawfest at Tulane University

As an iconic Tulane tradition, first started in 2007, Crawfest is a music, food, and arts festival hosted annually in the heart of New Orleans. Guests enjoy tons — yes, literally tons — of crawfish, dozens of local vendors, and music on the uptown campus of Tulane. Students can reserve their ticket for free.

NTC Dean’s Colloquium with Dr. Trivia Frazier

SoPA Year-End Mixer

Looking for something to do on your Lagniappe day? Join your student government (SoPASO) for an end-of-the-year mixer! All SoPA students, alumni, faculty and staff are welcome and are permitted to bring one guest each. Buffet-style hot dogs will be served.

Connect with representatives from law enforcement, emergency management, security management, and fire service organizations from local, state, and federal branches of government. Find out how your education, talents, and skills might be a good fit for top federal agencies. Students are encouraged to bring a resume. Many of the agencies are also recruiting for their internship programs. Employers include: Naval Information Warfare Command, Secret Service, FBI, Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations and more!

Authors Among Us: Exploring Children's Literature by Tulane Faculty and Students

School of Professional Advancement Commencement Ceremony

Graduates are invited to participate in Tulane SoPA’s diploma ceremony, which takes place at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. This is such a special event for our students because it is during this ceremony that you get to hear your name called and walk across the stage. Following the diploma ceremony, we will have a traditional New Orleans second line parade that leads us to the Marshall Commons at the A.B. Freeman School of Business for a reception with light refreshments.
