Biography
Brian is a cloud computing architect for Deloitte with over twenty years of experience in information technology. His consulting clients are primarily federal government agencies, to whom he delivers cloud platform solutions for a wide range of complex problems. Since 2015 he has delivered solutions for the ServiceNow IT Service Management cloud platform, specializing in custom application development and user interface design.
Prior to this role Brian has provided his technical expertise in a variety of positions for organizations in higher education, private industry, and the public sector. He began work in this field as an instructional designer, but over the years he has filled roles in system administration, virtualization engineering, IT management, and software development. The breadth of this experience has positioned him well as an IT Service Management (ITSM) subject matter expert.
While Brian’s primary background is in education, with an undergraduate degree in English Education and a Master's in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University, he holds a second Master's in Information Technology Security and Assurance from Carnegie Mellon University. Brian has delivered presentations for both the Microsoft Higher Education Conference and ServiceNow Knowledge Conference, and in 2017 he won the Knowledge Conference CreaterCon Hackathon.
