Biography
Celeste's focus at SoPA is external relations, events, and special projects. She has been with the school since 2001.
Celeste has an M.A. in civic & cultural management from Tulane. She earned her undergraduate degrees in anthropology with a concentration in Louisiana studies and in mass communications from Louisiana State University. She is an active supporter of Louisiana's public libraries.
What are your favorite activities when you are not working?
I love cooking, baking, and thinking about food; I'm always looking for something new and interesting to eat.
What is your favorite thing about SoPA?
My favorite thing about SoPA - our students! Their curiosity, dedication, and perseverance are inspiring.
What advice would you give to someone who's considering finishing their degree, or starting for the first time as an adult?
You're never too old to learn something new.
