Biography

Cynthia Traina Donnes, B.A., M.A. has been designated as a Tulane Faculty Fellow. She earned her B.A. at the University of New Orleans, where she majored in Liberal Arts and minored in General Legal Studies; and her M.A. in Legal Studies from American Public University. Ms. Traina Donnes has been a paralegal educator for 28 years, previously having taught Legal Ethics, the Louisiana Notary Public Exam Course, and participated with the internship program at the University of New Orleans.

She is a Qualified Family and Civil Mediator, registered with the Louisiana Bar Association; a Securities Arbitrator for FINRA; and a former Bankruptcy Trustee. She is an approved CLE sponsor with the LSBA, for which she conducts mediation training seminars. Ms. Traina Donnes also is the author of a textbook, Practical Law Office Management, which was published through Cengage Publishing in September 2015. She is a volunteer CASA Advocate, former CASA Board President, and a current Board Member with the American Cancer Society.
