Biography
Danielle is an IT and Management professional and currently serves as an educator and strategic adviser in technology and management for small to mid-sized companies. She teaches IT infrastructure, management and leadership courses and has served in roles from helpdesk through to senior leadership positions in technology. Her expertise has been rooted in growing small businesses through Fortune 500 companies using technology to change the entire strategy of the business. She enjoys the rapid change technology and education brings to her students. She is an author of ten books and was a prior television commentator touching on the overlaps of statistics and market data.
Specific to technology, Danielle has served in multinational organizations running development teams, project management, infrastructure, and network security. She began her career in the early 1990's and has watched the vast change in the sector. Her doctorate is in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Information Technology from Capella University earned in 2004, and she earned her MBA with an Information Technology emphasis from the University of Redlands in 2000. Her interest in managing global IT teams is now focused as a consultant, helping small to mid-sized companies navigate the necessary technologies to maintain a competitive advantage, while motivating an IT workforce and simultaneously managing often offshored providers.
She is a small business owner and has a strong passion for education. One of her core beliefs is that online education has leveled the playing field for students who may not have had an opportunity to go to school due to work and family commitments and is motivated by guiding learners to find a fit between course material and their work.
Danielle is a well published professor in academic journals and regularly presents at workshops and conferences. She works with partners all over the globe to understand requirements and find best fit solutions.
