Jeremy Stockwell

Jeremy is an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) for Microsoft.  In this capacity, he works with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, and IT Directors to overcome organizational challenges and meet business needs through the planning and deployment of the best Microsoft solutions.  As part of Microsoft Enterprise Commercial Group, Jeremy currently supports customers across Louisiana and Texas in the manufacturing, finance, insurance, construction, and retail industries.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Jeremy served as Infrastructure Practice Manager for Geocent, LLC, where he delivered solutions to commercial, state, and local government customers. In this role, he analyzed client IT environments and designed architecture solutions to meet business needs. He oversaw a team of consultants who implemented these solutions, focused on technologies offered through Microsoft platform (in the cloud and on-premises).  Major projects that Jeremy helped design and support were the migration of the State of Oklahoma to Office 365 for email and user data, as well as a 4500+ user migration to Office 365 for a Mississippi hospital to Office 365 Exchange Online.  Prior to becoming the Infrastructure Practice Manager, Jeremy supported the City of New Orleans and led the complex transition from an on-premises, 25-year-old human resources, payroll, and time & attendance system to a hosted solution.

Before joining Geocent, Jeremy worked in the Washington, DC area as a contractor supporting defense and intelligence customers.  For over five years, he worked with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Test Organization as a lead test engineer, and later as their chief systems engineer.  He also supported multiple business development activities that resulted in strategic wins for large federal contracts.

Along with his Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certification, Jeremy also holds the following Microsoft certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Productivity and Messaging;
• Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) in Cloud Platform, Office 365, and Windows Server 2012.
• Microsoft Specialist in Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions, Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Managing Projects and Portfolios with Project Server 2013, and Managing Projects with Project 2013/2016

Originally from the Chicagoland area, Jeremy has lived the New Orleans area for the past five years with his wife Kerry, son Teddy, and dog Wrigley.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003 from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, as well as his Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2007 from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
