Biography

Dr. Kennedy Oyoo has more than fifteen years of progressive Information Technology engagements covering the domains of enterprise architect, software engineering, enterprise systems, project management, data governance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and robotics process automation. During these years primarily in the technology consulting space, Dr. Oyoo has held both technical and leadership roles that has enabled him to work with multiple clients in different industries with defining strategy on their digital transformation initiatives with respect to emerging technologies and methodologies. This involves the definition, design and delivery of solutions that provides alignment with the business goals and objectives through the combination of application, data, business, and technical design patterns.

Dr. Oyoo is currently the Director of Enterprise Systems Department (ESD) at Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) where his primary focus is to deliver technology services to GTRI business operational departments and research laboratories in an effort to reduce their burden in research administration and operations through Enterprise Systems. This involves leading a team of sixty Information Technology (IT) Professionals by providing guidance in technology and business strategic planning, project assistance, definition of governance models, and technology innovation. Additionally, Dr. Oyoo also hold the titles of Principal Research Associate at Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) which allows him to participate in active research work, Affiliate Graduate Faculty title at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) where he participates in mentoring and serving in the Dissertation Committees for Information Technology doctorate candidates. I am enthusiastic about making learning interesting and interactive, in addition to a fervent desire to help students recognize the connection between learning and its application in real life experience.
