Biography
Lauren Andress Ratcliff is the Media Content Manager for the School of Professional Advancement. She focuses on developing media to enrich the online curriculum offered by SoPA. Ms. Ratliff also teaches UI and UX courses for the SoPA Media + Design program.
She graduated from Tulane summa cum laude with a B.A. in Digital Design/Interactive Design and a minor in Marketing. She received the prestigious Tulane 34 award, a regional American Advertising Award in the student division for packaging design, and the Elmo & Margaret Allen Waltzer Scholarship for her service to the Tulane SoPA community. She served on the board for the Tulane student chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and continues to have an active role in the New Orleans professional chapter of the AIGA.
She credits the School of Professional Advancement for the opportunity to succeed as a non-traditional student. She is motivated to "pay it forward" by applying her expertise in UX/UI design to design learning experiences for an adult learner population.
Ms. Ratcliff lives in New Orleans with her husband and 3 cats. She spends her free time reading, crafting, and practicing aerial arts.
