Biography
Patrick Bell, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with a subspecialty in school psychology. He graduated from Tulane University and completed his internship at Louisiana School Psychology Internship Consortium working at LSU Health Science Center as well as Morris Jeff Community School. Dr. Bell’s education-related experiences include five years of classroom teaching, six years as a member of school leadership/administration, and six years with a specific focus on practicing psychology in the schools. His current competencies and passions involve completing both DSM-5 and Louisiana Bulletin 1508 compliant evaluations, consulting with schools and leaders on implementing multi-tiered systems of behavioral and social-emotional supports, providing both direct and indirect (i.e., via professional training and support) support for students requiring functional behavior assessments and plans, and providing direct evidence-based interventions for a variety of concerns such as grief, stress, and trauma, depression and anxiety, anger and impulsivity, and social skill acquisition and generalization. He established PRIA Services LLC in New Orleans, a private practice aiming to Promote Resilience through Intervention and Assessment services. To date, PRIA Services collaborates with private families, schools and youth-facing agencies in the Greater New Orleans area, parishes around the state of Louisiana, and psychologists in different states.
