Scott Guillory

Scott Guillory has spent the last 24 years as an Engineer, Team Lead and Architect of enterprise scale systems and in the cloud. His skills center upon Service-Orientation / SOA, Microservices, Integration and EIP, and Enterprise and Cloud Architecture. Special topics of interest include Digital Transformation, the Federated Enterprise, and applied Cryptography.

He holds a BA and MS in Economics from Louisiana State University and completed a further 2 years of work towards a PhD in Econometrics.

After work as an Economist for a small Economic development agency in Virginia, he took a “temporary” job writing software during the early days of the rise of the global internet, where he discovered a love for software engineering that turned into a lifetime career.

When not writing software, Mr. Guillory spends much of his time obsessing over a life-long passion for travel.
