Biography
A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Shuntasia Coleman fuels her passion by helping to illuminate businesses and community-driven organizations through the power of public relations and digital strategy. She has over 10 years of experience spread across strategic communications and planning, project development, content marketing, and event management. Shuntasia has had the pleasure of working in a variety of industries including radio broadcasting, hospitality and tourism, education, and government relations. She is the recent founder of Fruitful Media Group, a boutique PR and digital marketing agency that helps various brands develop their voice, and build their virtual communities. Shuntasia Coleman earned a Bachelor of Arts from Tougaloo College with an emphasis in TV and Radio Broadcasting and a Master of Science in Public Relations from The University of Southern Mississippi. She finds joy in connecting with members of the community and providing support through service. Her community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for Pine Belt Public Relations Association of Mississippi (Scholarship and Student Affairs Chair), South Mississippi Art Association (Programs Chair, VP), and Kuntry Kidz Youth Foundation (Director of Communications, VP). Shuntasia is an active member of the African American Military History Museum Committee, a lifetime member of the NAACP (Communications Chair), and serves as the president of the Pine Belt Chapter of Tougaloo College Alumni Association. Outside of these activities, Shuntasia enjoys traveling to new places, trying new foods, blogging, and spending time with family and friends.
