Biography

Christopher Moghaddami is a mixed methods public health researcher focused on financial incentivization programs which run parallel to domestic nutritional assistance programs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health & Wellness (Tulane University ’18), a Master of Health Administration (LSU Shreveport ’19), a Master of Public Health with a concentration on Health Policy & Systems Management (LSU Health Sciences Center ’21), and is working toward a PhD in Health Promotion Sciences at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center – Hudson College of Public Health. The current foci of his studies are quantitative research methods, qualitative research methods, and nutritional sciences.

He currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, as well as a contracted researcher for a local non-profit. He previously worked in an administrative capacity at the LSU Health Sciences Center - School of Medicine, where he was a two-time recipient of the Chairman’s Award of Excellence. Additionally, he has interned with the Hammond Farmers Market, and volunteered with both the Southeastern Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System and Culture Aid NOLA.

At Tulane University, Chris was a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma national fraternity. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor cooking, spending time with friends and neighbors, and making friends with other peoples’ dogs.
