Biography
Jennifer Witcher is an accomplished Manager of business teams, operations, and services with 15 years of experience working within lead roles for respected corporations that have included Service Corporation International, Capital One Bank and Dell Financial Services. A strong expertise in team building and operational leadership combined with an extensive background in sales and service give Jennifer the knowledge and skill set necessary to oversee the entire cycle of business, from initial strategy and planning to revenue generation and ongoing account management. Since 2021, Jennifer has been the Manager of a department of 60 Customer Care and Collections agents at SCI, the leading provider of death care products and services in North America (NYSE:SCI). Jennifer has increased customer satisfaction by teaching SCI Customer Care Agents to utilize emotional intelligence and develop a “passion for compassion” when interacting with customers. Jennifer is also an active member of 2 Associate Resource Committees within SCI that drive efforts for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
In addition to her work experience, Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health and Wellness and a Minor in Small Business Development from Tulane School of Professional Advancement. She is also completing the process to become a Certified Health Coach through the American Council of Exercise.
Jennifer’s ties with Tulane University go beyond her degree. Jennifer’s wife works for the Tulane School of Medicine in Research Compliance, and the two can often be seen at Tulane football games as season ticket holders.
Outside of work and community activities, Jennifer enjoys exercising and spending time with family, including her boxer named Goose.
