Joni Schultz

Joni Schultz is a highly dedicated practicing paralegal with 23 years of progressive experience committed to excellence in the legal arena. Joni Schultz has earned many collegiate academic achievements as a nontraditional student while working full-time as a practicing paralegal. Before attending Tulane University, Joni Schultz graduated from Nunez Community College, wherein she graduated as an Honors Graduate. At Nunez, Joni Schultz made the Dean’s List every semester and the National Dean’s List. In addition, Joni Schultz was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa at Nunez Community College. Afterward, Joni Schultz enrolled at Tulane University, where she made the Dean’s List every semester. Joni Schultz is a member of Alpha Sigma Lamba and Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX) at Tulane University.

Key Accomplishments

While working full-time and attending Tulane, Joni Schultz volunteers her time in the community by participating in Tulane’s General Legal Studies Peer Mentoring Program and Tulane’s Student Advisory Committee. Under an attorney’s supervision, Joni Schultz volunteers to provide free legal services in the community by volunteering on the Justice and Accountability Center’s Clean Jacket Expungement Day. Joni Schultz has inspired women to attend St. Tammany’s Lady Beware Self Defense Program. Joni Schultz has provided civil service duties to the St. Tammany community as Commissioner in Charge for St. Tammany Parish’s Elections Department. Joni Schultz has participated in St. Bernard Parish’s Community Emergency Response Program (CERT). Also, Joni Schultz spearheaded NOPA’s Military Outreach Program to support our veterans and various leadership activities that she unselfishly does for others to give back to the community. Finally, Joni Schultz is a member of the New Orleans Paralegal Association (NOPA) and Northshore Legal Secretaries Association (NLSA).
