Biography

Josh Fleig is the lead architect behind the growth of the technology industry in Louisiana over the last decade. Starting under the Jindal administration in 2012, he built the strategy that led to many of the software and digital media wins during his tenure at Louisiana Economic Development (LED).

Josh was also instrumental in creating the state’s Entertainment Development Fund as well as designing the largest venture capital program in state history under the U.S. State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI).

Prior to LED, Josh was the Director of Media & Brands at SinglePoint (now Bally’s Corporation -NYSE: BALY). At SinglePoint he managed all publisher relationships for the software-as-a-service (SaaS) business focused on building interactive TV engagements (text-to-TV) across major broadcasters including CBS, Disney, Viacom & Discovery. He began his work in the media industry at NBCUniversal working as a technical producer in interactive media product design. There he produced hundreds of fan engagements across NBC Sports, Bravo, Syfy, MSNBC, CNBC, et al.

Josh holds a B.A. in Art History from LSU and an M.F.A. in Interactive Design from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
