Biography
As a Program Analyst with the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Operational Coordination Division, Katrina Williams supports the Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) training section by focusing on a strategic approach to annual training and validation requirements for National and Regional teams within the context of overall readiness. Katrina’s FEMA career began in 2013 as a Training Specialist where she led the instruction of various leadership and emergency management training courses, while serving the training needs of the Agency’s supervisors and leaders. Her contributions aided FEMA to complete over 5,000 qualification specific virtual courses and the orientation of over 8000 new FEMA employees. Katrina attended Fisk University in Nashville, TN majoring in Finance & Mass Communications towards a Bachelor of Science degree. She recently returned to her alma mater to support the Homeland Security program. Katrina is from Philadelphia, PA, and currently resides in Southern New Jersey with her husband.
