Biography
Dr. Nazar Mustapha is an associate Professor of Financial Economics, the Eben Hardi Jr. Finance Endowed Professor, and the Coordinator of the Financial Economics and Accounting program at Dillard University.
He has a doctorate degree in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans. His research focuses on International Finance and Microfinance.
Last May, Dr. Mustapha served as a keynote speaker at the 7th International Conference on Business, Economics, and Social Sciences held in Bandung, Indonesia. His keynote speech titled Effective Student-Centered Pedagogies.
Dr. Mustapha was featured on Fox 8 in the evening news on the topic of What Is Recession? Financial Economics Expert Weighs in.
He was quoted by Forbes Magazine in the article “Covid-19 was forcing women from the workplace in record numbers, and we don’t know when they will be back”.
Dr. Mustapha has many years of stellar teaching records. He is a very passionate instructor. He has such a dynamic teaching style that the students find him very enjoyable. He was the recipient of multiple teaching awards.
Dr. Mustapha is fluent in English, French, Russian and Arabic, and has good knowledge of Spanish and several other European languages.
