Biography
Diana Richard, M.A., has over twenty years of experience teaching language acquisition as an ELD/ESOL and French teacher. At FirstLine Schools, she oversees program quality and educational equity for the English learners across the FLS network of five open-enrollment New Orleans charter schools. In addition, Diana works directly with students at three of the K-8 charter schools.
Diana earned her B.A. from Northwestern University. While pursuing her Master's degree from the Stanford Teacher Education Program, she taught French and English Language Development (ELD) to students from more than 20 countries at a Silicon Valley area high school. She has also taught in Chicago and Guatemala. Diana is certified in French, English as a Second Language, and as a reading specialist.
