What You Will Learn While Earning Your Degree in Humanities

Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in Humanities degree program at the Tulane School of Professional Advancement will develop critical oral communication, analysis, and writing skills to prepare for a wide range of contemporary work environments and professions. Humanities students gain the opportunity to engage in the interdisciplinary study of complementary fields, such as English literature, religious studies, linguistics, music, visual and performing arts, and philosophy.

The School of Professional Advancement awards the Bachelor of Arts in Humanities degree following the successful completion of 120 credits. Humanities majors are prepared for a variety of professions that require critical thinking skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and communicate information through writing. Admissions

Apply anytime—no test scores or letters of recommendation are required.

For undergraduate programs, applicants must have obtained a high school diploma or a general equivalent diploma and will fill out a short application. Review admissions information for your Humanities degree.
