This tool allows students to answer questions on real time and is a great way to gauge how well students are understanding different concepts and information. Students can respond to questions either on their phone or on the web; could be used as a quick and fun exit ticket for my classroom.

Edutopia is a website sponsored by the George Lucas. Educational Foundation. It is a great resource for current issues in education and also has an online community for sharing and collaborating with other teachers. You can sign up to receive a weekly digest of articles and videos that have appeared on Edutopia.

Upon registration, the teacher can provide students with a safe place to practice blogging and writing skills. The teacher has complete control over what gets published and what doesn't.
Rewordify

Rewordify changes the difficulty level of a text or passage to adjust to the grade level of the student. It also provides the teacher with vocabulary lists and activities.
SMMRY

SMMRY summarizes any text. It also allows the teacher to download a PDF version of the summary.
